Ekenywa Hospital was established as a dispensary in 1994, and went through stages of transformation and evolution in the following years of hard work, and currently is a multi-specialist hospital.
The Hospital has been accredited as a specialized hospital from 07th December 2012 and then upgraded to a Regional referral hospital on 28th October 2014 by the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare.
Ekenywa Specialized Hospital focuses on reliable patient care and treatment at affordable prices. It offers medical services to patients who are residents of Dar es Salaam City and other regions across and outside the country. The main goal of Ekenywa specialized hospital is to support the government's efforts in improving the quality of treatment and health services provided to both local and international populations.
